⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Arran at Pearl Street Tattoo was fantastic to work with! My girlfriend and I were visiting Boston for Halloween weekend and decided last minute to get matching tattoos. Arran was able to fit us in on short notice and created a perfect design from the vague ideas I shared with him. His artwork is incredibly detailed and exactly the style we were hoping for. He’s professional, hospitable, and genuinely enthusiastic about his craft. Our tattoos turned out amazing — it was a really special experience for us, especially since I proposed to my girlfriend the next day! Arran stands out as a respectful and professional artist in an industry where that’s not always guaranteed. I wish we lived closer so I could get more work done by him. Highly recommend Pearl Street Tattoo Club — and definitely check out Arran’s work on Instagram: @arranv.tattoos
I had my first tattoo done here, and I cannot recommend Pearl Street (and Felice, my amazing artist) enough. Super clean shop, super welcoming, everything clear and upfront for before, during, and after! Also, having artists who come and chat can make a five hour experience feel like less than two! Love it here, definitely coming back
I was referred to Arran through another artist, and I'm so glad I followed through. I wanted a medium-sized full color situation, and he was absolutely the right person for the job. He was responsive in the lead up to the day, understood intuitively the vibe I was going for and came up with some really creative ways to pull it all together. My piece had a reference to my favorite band, and Arran put their music on while tattooing, which was a very thoughtful touch. The shop rules. It's pink, the walls (and ceilings!) are covered in art, so there's always something to stare at. Flamingo bathroom 15/10. I was in on a few days after a big snowfall, and despite the weather and snow and salt, the shop was spotless. It is a very inclusive space, and all of the other artists working that day came to introduce themselves and see how the tattoo was progressing. You can tell the artists really enjoy being around each other. That added a nice level of psychological safety that I deeply appreciated. It is apparent that the folks here take ethics seriously, and I love supporting a small business that has principles. I was fully looped in on all options for every decision we made all day (including but not limited to: the color of individual confetti pieces in the art and my preferred style of aftercare). There were no assumptions made on my behalf and Arran often reminded me I didn't need to rush to make a decision. If you're looking for a place to make your art happen, I cannot recommend Pearl Street more highly.
